British contemporary artist Louise Dear recently launched her new project, #loveyourselfie, encouraging social media users to send in a selfie so she can create individual portraits of them in her own unique style.

Dear, who's due to be featured in her own short film for the BBC, creates large, contemporary, figurative works which utilise bold and vibrant colours, and her pieces have attracted the attention of some famous faces, with a number of celebrity commissions in the works over the coming months. Dear was also recently commissioned to create her biggest painting to date for the Daisy Green Food Group's new restaurant on Buckingham Palace Road, which features thousands of crystals.
